Connexions
Brian Wright is our Connexions Personal Adviser. Brian recently received an award from Tony Blair for Excellence in Services to the Public - he offers advice on Careers, Colleges and Work on Mondays and Tuesdays. Brian works out of the Connexions Office which can be found next to ‘The Base’.
Confidential Counselling
Laura Stewart is our counsellor from Off the Record Counselling Service and is in school to see pupils on Wednesday mornings. To make an appointment either drop a note into the yellow post box outside the Finance Office or see Ms Bradshaw and she can do it for you.
Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Worker
Jo Roden is our advisor on all matters to do with drugs and alcohol. To make an appointment to see her please see your form tutor or Ms Bradshaw. You can always Talk to Frank if you prefer to speak to someone over the phone: 0800 776600.
School Nurse
Need advice on spots, stress, sexual health, smoking or anything else in between? Lesley Warden is our school nurse. She is available for pupils on Wednesday lunchtimes in the Connexions Office. Drop in - you don’t need an appointment!
If you are not sure who to talk to then why not speak to your Form Tutor, your Year Leader or any other teacher you get on well with.
