Business Mentors
This year some of our Year 10 students will have the benefit of being mentored by local business professionals. Business mentoring works to benefit the individuals, the school, the local community and the business community. The impact of these mentors benefits our students by: -
- Increasing confidence and self-esteem
- Enhancing responsibility for their own learning
- Developing higher career aspirations
- Developing a greater awareness of the opportunities and demands of higher education and the world of work
- Enables them to access impartial advice
Extended Work Placements
Extended work placements are offered to students to back up their studies either at college or in school. Students find that they are better prepared for working life when they leave school.
